E Indoor fan motor malfunction.I just wanted to take a minute to reach out and say thank you. The factory JBL subwoofer in my 4Runner blew a few months ago and I really didn t want to go aftermarket because of just how great the stock system sounds with no bulky sub or amp taking up precious cargo room.
I ordered the repair kit Friday, and here it is Monday and the sub is already repaired and back in the truck. I am extremely impressed by the quality of the replacement surround and the simplicity of the installation, not to mention the great price. Your instructions were top notch and having a YouTube video to watch just to double check the steps is just icing on the cake. I am a bug believer in repair instead of replace when at all possible, and I will most definitely be ordering from your company again in the future.
Please, please keep up the awesome things you all are doing. In a disposable world, it s a relief to see a company that still believes in repair. Thank you so much! Dear Simply Speakers, My experience with your organization was wonderful.
The foam edge kit I ordered arrived in only two days. The 15" foam edges fit perfectly and the glue performed exactly as described.
Your online videos provided me with everything I needed for a first time foam edge repair. My Mach 3s sound great again. Great doing business with you.
These woofers sound great as replacements for the originals in some old speakers that my dad and I pieced together from some even older speakers back in the 70's. However, what I am most impressed with is Simply Speakers' willingness to go back and forth with me by email to figure out exactly what I needed to do. After watching their excellent video on how to repair my woofers, I was about to buy one of two repair kits, but after I sent a photo, they identified that neither kit would work for my repairs, and that the only option was replacement -- which saved me buying a repair kit or two, as well as a lot of time and frustration.
Taking this time to answer my rookie questions, even though I was obviously not going to be a high-dollar customer, really impressed me. I buy things online now and then, mainly through Amazon, but I have never taken the time to write a review before, if that tells you anything.I'm after some advice as to how to replace a soldered fuse on a circuit board.
I won't bother with the detail of how it blew here there is a thread on the Retouching forum but it looks like the solution to get my Epson running again.
Also, any idea where to source a 2. Get small soldering iron and heat each end and lift end with twezers or other objectdo same thing to other end, Probably get fuse ar radio shack. Don't overheat the joint. Discharge any static before starting. Sounds like a surface mount fuse,Doubt if you will get one at Dick smiths in Perth, try to get a number off it,or at least the physical size, web search "surface mount fuse australia" will give a few leads.
Here's the fuse in all its blown glory. I agree it would be a long shot at Dick Smith, so maybe the web is the way to go. Have you made sure the two end caps with the wires are soldered in place on the fuse, if not they might slip off. And you could slip a new fuse in without any soldering. The correct way is of cause to get a fuse with pig tails and do the soldering on the back side of the PCB. Make sure the soldering iron is temperature controlled, if the temperature is too high the copper foil will separate from the board and you have bigger problem.
Good luck! Rolf has a good point,if the caps are indeed just pushed on the fuse, your problems are nearly over,it looks like the fuse is a slow blow fuse. Rolf wrote: Have you made sure the two end caps with the wires are soldered in place on the fuse, if not they might slip off. Thanks for the comments.
I did try to prise one of the caps off, but without success. Admittedly at the time I wasn't fully committed to the soldering job, but now as I am if the post breaks it's not a problem. I did pick up a pack of fuses today to give it a go. Also, if that fails I may get lucky and only have to solder one end - to one closest to the power input as I'm hoping to slide the fuse out of the sleeve at the other end.
Thanks for the tip on the temperature control. If I can't prise it off this afternoon then that looks like the way to go. It may not look good but how about laying the new fuse alongside, a quick dab of solder each end and it's done!
That's if there is space for two fuses of course but it would save any possible PCB damage. Regards, John. The following information will not only help you in troubleshooting your spa, but will also guide you step by step in repairing it.

This provides an even backlighting, as can be seen in our actual product photos. We ended the month with a total profit of 126 points which means we are now back in the game with an overall profit of 28. We're back with another update to our Golf Betting Expert review and we've seen a slight increase in the strike rate this month, however it still ended with a loss in the end.
We lost 19 points in total which gives us an overall loss of 97. Since last month we noticed that the advised starting bank on the sales page has now been upped from 200 to 500 points, which seems a much more sensible size after witnessing the massive swing in variance the service has experienced over the last couple of months.
We are going to continue following the service for another three months and will report back soon with our next update. It's been a turbulent time in our Golf Betting Expert review with a terrible losing run where just 2 out of 42 bets returned a profit. After the bets from the Tour Championship and Portugal Masters had been settled, our 200 point bank had dwindled all the way down to 19. The next set of tips were received on the following Thursday ahead of the British Masters, but at this stage our bank was 0.
Technically this is a bust bank, but we went on to record the available odds and waited to see what happened next anyway. Since starting the review we are still down by 78. Clearly the advised starting bank of 200 points is not sufficient and we can't deny that we have lost confidence in the service. Despite this, we have decided to continue following the tips for a little while longer to see whether a recovery can be made and whether the recommended bank will be adjusted.
